Long Beach Island (LBI) Homes  Long Beach Island is an 18 mile long barrier island off the coast of New Jersey. Its sandy beaches and small resort towns make it a popular summer destination. As you drive the two-mile causeway over the bay toward the island you begin to sense that - something is different here. Its the salt sea air and the low roar of the surf, but theres something more - some describe it as "peace of mind". Once on the island, you can drive the eighteen miles from Barnegat Lighthouse at the northern tip to Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge at the south end, and never be more than a block or two from the ocean or the bay. Basically, the island is divided into three parts - the north end, central and the south end.
Harvey Cedars/Loveladies Homes The north end of the island (North Beach, Harvey Cedars, Loveladies and Barnegat Light) is very quiet and private. Most properties are on private tracts except Barnegat Light. Harvey Cedars and Barnegat Light offer a little town where you can find restaurants, ice cream, shops and more.
Surf City Real EstateThe central part of the island (Surf City & Ship Bottom) you can walk to the beach or bay. These two towns offer all kinds of restaurants, shops, pizza, coffee shops, miniature golf. This is a very popular part of the island.
